I’ve gotta admit, the man does a good speech. But, when I actually heard it, his voice didn’t really drag me in. But, I suppose he can’t have a happy tone since we’ve just legged it from Dunkirk.. I suppose it would have had an effect then.

We shall defend our island, whatever the cost may be. We shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets.
